Born in 1972 Mr Herbert started his music education with 4. His first instrument: a violin, then piano and finally … a sampler. He’s considered as one of the most important & influential figures of today’s electronic scene.

He’s created his very own experimental music dogmalike manifesto: the “Personal Contract for the Composition of Music” (PCCOM). Basically you cannot use any pre-recorded musical sources, as well as any synthetic sounds that imitate acoustic instruments (unless they’re yours). Crazy?
We don’t know, but with this particular vision of music has made Herbert one of the most prolific composers out there. His music sources go from dragging a chair to manipulating human skin … always with a jazzy touch.
He is our first attractive figure not only because of his musical talent, but also for his vision of the world and his political principles.
