We all have big Egos and would love to make them grow bigger & bigger (… maybe not). Ivan Puig‘s installations always try to question ourselves through sarcasm, irony or paradoxes.

Ivan loves other people’s reactions (of any kind) when they look at his pieces. He likes to think that art has a creative, political & transforming power that could result in concrete and tangible effects sometimes sublime and others subtle.

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico in 1977. Puig studied electronics in Guadalajara and then plastic arts in Guanajuato, Mexico. A multidisciplinary artist, his work has been exhibited in Mexico, the United States, Spain, Canada and Germany.
