Ok so… it’s kind of painful to post about anything related to the Microsoft world but.. they just unveiled today their upcoming Win7 UI which like or not… it’s hot! Clearly using Zune’s interface and integrating the whole Msft world in it it has many chances to gain market share back….
The Win7 series has the minimalistic interface Msft came up with for the Zune HD…. no shiny 3D icons, no flashy effects, no cards… simple, plain… big text and big images… that’s all you get… that’s all you need (although sometimes looks a bit confusing).
It shall be available in new WiMo devices for the “next holidays”, and in case you need MOOORE info, here’s a 22min demo
Don’t know what you think but we’re quite excited for such an original OS (it’s been too many years since we got excited about any Msft product) and nice to see the Redmond company is back!
