Internal competitions to boost competitiveness while keeping the corporate culture intact is something (we can tell you) not easy to organize. Yet here we find a rather creative competitive approach Jonathan Rosenberg decided to bring to product management inside Google…
While visiting the London office he saw a mosaic of photos of London that had been created by a product manager named Clay Bavor and a team of Googlers. Then he thought…. why not a contest of Google art walls?
In the end 23 teams from 12 offices across eight countries ended up participating & submitting videos and photographs of their work. Here are some of them:
Rubik's Cubes Galore
The grand prize went to “Rubik’s Cubes Galore”, a giant Google doodle meticulously composed of 850 Rubik’s Cubes, created by the Taipei office.
