[ 23/12/2009 to 24/12/2009. ] This Friday street-artist Boris Hoppek himself will present his latest pieces for the first time in Paris at the upian artspace in the exhibition “Since1989″. You probably know Hoppek from his Bimbo Dolls series, expressive cloth figures which were featured in Übersee 1 and Pictoplasma 2 (and used by several advertisers).

We find Brendan Wenzel’s human illustrations are funnily enough similar to Hugo Pratt’s style… a mere coincidence that he studied at the Pratt Institute? (although it’s not related at all). He’s probably more well known for his fauna & flora illustrations… - Video: Le banc

Some chopping boards are just that. Others like this “puzzleboard” reformulate the traditional conception of the vulgar piece of wood into a versatile tool (today everything tends to be multifunctional…).
